The University’s student employment program offers undergraduate and graduate students paid part-time work while they pursue a course of study. Student worker positions are not benefits-eligible (with the exception of benefits specifically offered to graduate assistants/associates), as the primary relationship to the University for individuals in student worker positions is that of a student.
The Student Employment Manual contains policies with links to procedures and related information. These are general employment policies that apply to all student workers. The contents of this manual are not to be construed as a contract or agreement and are subject to periodic revision. Additional requirements specific to graduate assistants/associates can be found in the Graduate Assistant/Associate Manual.
Student workers may be eligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS), a federal financial aid program that funds part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students. To review eligibility criteria and find more information, visit financialaid.arizona.edu/types-aid/work-study/federal-work-study.
