Purpose and Summary

This Policy provides guidance to University employees regarding political activity on campus, based on state statutes and ABOR policy. 

Reason for Revisions to Policy:

  • Move policy from "Interim" status to "Permanent" status.
  • Provide clearer guidance to University employees as to the types of political activity which are permitted and prohibited on campus, and the requirements applicable to certain types of activities.
  • Updates to (i) definitions, (ii) expert testimony language, and (iii) FAQs specific to employees to also include reference to DCCs.
